Ocean Restaurant in Hamburg

We visited the restaurant spontaneously. Because it is small, the feeling is perfect. I'm passionate about cooking myself and I've never been able to say that the food is perfect. Here already. I have never found such a good aioli in a restaurant. The friendly service rounded off the evening. A great evening. Highly recommended 👍

Goods for drinks. Location is right on a main street, so very noisy and certainly not suitable for children. The waitress seemed rather moderately enthusiastic about our presence. I would not recommend purely from this without knowledge of the food.

Good food

There is delicious fish here, both to take away and to eat. If you are on Fehmarn it is definitely a must. The submarine and a discarded rescue ship are also located here.

At a late hour there was really good coffee yesterday, extremely friendly service with the heart in the right place. Highly recommended, as the kitchen can only be good.

We came across this restaurant very spontaneously and were really impressed. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The greeting from the kitchen in the form of aioli with bread was a very tasty start. The fish platter for two was very, very tasty. The fish is well fried and the plate is more than enough occupied. The restaurant is very recommendable.

Great food. Salad including dressing excellent. I can particularly recommend a fish platter for two. Fresh fish and two hungry guys are full. My grandson was also very satisfied with the chips and chicken. Service super nice. I can only recommend this restaurant.

It was really tasty and great and the service was very nice and courteous. Of course, this restaurant is small and fine. But you can also sit outside in the rain the canopy works .. why I don't give 5 out of 5 stars? because of the toilet that is outside .. comes across like a public toilet. And especially in winter you don't want to go out. But this is my peronal opinion. Otherwise very recommendable!

Very great little restaurant. From the outside it looks a bit like a fast food. However, as soon as you enter it is a calm, romantic and pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are of very high quality and the price / performance ratio is very good. The service from a young man tonight was very friendly and professional. Since I myself work in the hotel and catering trade, I am always very critical. However, I can recommend this restaurant without reservation.

We were here after the musical visit. Fortunately, I had ordered a table. Otherwise, it can be scarce on a Saturday evening. The restaurant has only 26 seats. In summer there are definitely also outdoor spaces. Sometimes it was too narrow at the tables for two. The food tasted very good and there was nothing to complain about. The price / performance ratio is ok. There is an open kitchen and that is a real disadvantage. The extractor hood unfortunately does not manage to keep the kitchen vapors out of the restaurant. After we left the restaurant, the kitchen scent was stuck in our clothes ....

The restaurant is very small, but has a cozy atmosphere. Cooking takes place in an open kitchen, so that you can watch the chef work. The food was sensational and very good value for money. For two very large pieces of pikeperch only 17 € is almost unbeatable in Hamburg. The waitresses were very nice and attentive. Unfortunately I could not find a toilet but it may be that this has a separate entrance outside.

Food is good. Beside the tour harbour and train station. Toilet clean. Price reasonable.

A very small restaurant under the exit of the railway station Landungsbrücken. The service and the food were great. We had the fish plate for 2 people and the fish was really great in terms of taste. Also the serving size was adequate although I am a good eater. All in all a cozy and very good restaurant. The prices are in my opinion not cheap but quite adequate.

Place ok because of the surroundings. Very little space inside. Affordable prices. Unfortunately, the food tastes on the average - it's not bad but the culinary experience I would not expect.

It is the best seafood restaurant in Hamburg that you shouldn’t miss in your visit. The place is small but food taste is awesome and portions are huge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A nice restaurant with fish steak pasta salads. Fishplater was great and the salad dressing was amazing. The tuna steak was perfection!! The plater is just right for 2 people and you dont need anything else. The Wine prices are a bit crazy though!! The apple dessert was great as was the icecream with warm fruit. Would recomend it to anyone. Staff was supper nice.

Delicious food, the staff was really kind, and the food came out really quickly despite being almost full! The Xl burger is totally recommended!

Dry fish , hard fried shrimps, tun streak, which could not be more ruined, salt potatos, which were over boiled to the exstreme - even Gordon Ramsey could save this awful place...

Good steaks can't compare to USA but decent for Europe

This restaurant (perhaps not surprising for its location) is mainly a tourist draw. I ordered a ribeye steak and it was cooked medium, as promised, though it was small. The meal itself was small overall, considering the price, but a saving grace is that it was quite tasty. The staff were mostly friendly here, and there was a good, clean restroom, but we were not asked how we would like our steaks cooked, and when one of our party sought out the server to get that specified, we got a slightly odd reaction. I would return there to eat if going with friends, but if I had the choice, there are better places I'd seek out.

We did not like the food that much. However, the staff was friendly and our lunch was prepared quite fast.

A place for tourists. Could be very crowded.

Great place to eat. We stayed in Hamburg for a few days (June 2013) , and ate twice there. The food was awesome. And waiters were great, and even spoke good English.
